War Service
When he enlisted in Wiluna on 3 Sep 1942 he gave his date of birth as 29 May 1924. He enlisted with his nephew David Francis Fitzgerald who was also under age. In Cue on 31 Jul 1944 he was transferred to the reserve before being discharged on 15 Oct 1945.
