Pre War
Frank emigrated to Australia from London, leaving on 25 Aug 1923 aboard the SS Euripides. He was listed on the manifest as a 23 year old grocer from 'Will farm', Arthington near Leeds. Previous service in the Royal Navy. During 1925 Frank married Eileen E Dunn.
Electoral Roll entries: 1931 at Group Settlement 84, Airdale, farmer; 1943 at River road, Kelmscott, labourer. 1935 - 1939 listed in the 1939 Post Office Directories at Canning Weir.
War Service
Frank enlisted in the CMF on 20 Sep 1940 and was appointed as a Temporary Corporal in 5th Australian Lines of Communication Provost Company. The following day he was admitted to Lucknow Private Hospital in Claremont, remaining with them until 19 Nov 1940 when he traansferred to the 110th Australian base Hospital
