War Service
A widow, Mille enlisted on 19 Jun 1942 at the No. 4 RAAF Recruiting Centre, mustered as a Cook. She transferred the same day to No. 3 WAAAF Training Depot RAAF to undertake basic training in Drill. On 13 Jul 1942 she was transferred to No. 5 School of Technical Training RAAF to train her in the ways of RAAF cooking.
