Pre War

Prior to enlistment was working as a Clerical Assistant at the Byford Royal Australian Navy Depot.

War Service

Patricia enrolled in the WAAAF on 20 Dec 1944 at No. 4 RAAF Recruiting Centre, and was sent to the No. 3 WAAAF Training Depot RAAF to complete No.R32 Recruit Drill Course. On 21 Jan 1945 Patricia was posted to the Staff of the unit until 23 Mar 1945 when she was transferred to RAAF Base Pearce. Her next posting, on 15 May 1945 was to No. 6 Service Flying Training School RAAF.


On 1 Nov 1945 Patricia was posted to the Staff of No. 5 Personnel Depot RAAF, from where she was detached to 110th Australian Base Hospital until 16 Jan 1946 when she returned to her unit. With workload easing, on 15 Apr 1946 she was placed in their Discharge Section and discharged on 23 Apr 1946

Post War

Married Alan Francis Malone in 1947. They had two children.
