Pre War
Prior to enlistment, Dorothy had completed 9th Standard schooling and had attended 2 years of dressmaking studies at at Perth Technical College. She had received training as an Air Raid Warden, and had completed a First Aide Course. Electoral Roll entry: 1943 at Albany road, Kelmscott.
War Service
Dorothy enlisted at the No. 4 RAAF Recruiting Centre on 30 Jun 1942, mustered as a Sick Quarter Attendant. During early 1944 Dorothy married Raymond Keith Moon.
