He spent 30 days receiving treatment for VD  when he again entered France, before he rejoined the battalion on 20 Jun 1917. Eaneaas required further medical treatment from 15 Sep until 23 Oct 1917.

Pre War

Electoral Roll entries: 1931 Group 119 , Northcliffe, farmer; 1937 Byford, farmer. During 1930 Eaneas had married Elsie Mary Browne (1905 - 1936) in Perth. Elsie died in Northcliffe aged 30 on 9 Apr 1936. They had a daughter Elsie Joyce Matuerite Lorenz (1931 - 2004). He later married Christiana Gladys Browne (1898 - 2003). Gladys died in Northcote on 22 Nov 2003 aged 105.

War Service

Eaneas was a member of 2nd (Fremantle) Battalion of the Volunteer Defence Corps overseen by the RSL from 1 Jun 1941 until he enlisted in the Militia. On 22 Mar 1942 Eaneas enlisted in the Militia and was posted to the No 2 VDC (Fremantle) Battalion. there, on 31 Jul 1942 he was promoted Lieutenant, but on 30 Apr 1943 he resigned his commission, which was accepted. Discharged on 30 Apr 1943.

Post War

1954 - 1980 at 6 Forrest road, Armadale, retired.
