Early Life
Walter Tomlinson was born in 1866. His birth was registered at Worksop in Nottinghamshire.
Marriage
Walter married Ellen Tomlinson formerly Hickson (nee Gabbitass). Walter and Ellen had six children, Emma, John,(Emma and John were from a previous marriage with James Hickson) Margaret Dorothy (born 1894), Wilfred James (born 1899), Walter Cyril (born 1900).

According to the electoral roll in 1943 they lived at Railway Avenue Armadale, in 1936/37 they lived in Armadale. Walter's occupation was an Orchardist/Farmer.
Death
Walter died at the age of 83 years on 10 October 1948.
