Pre War
During 1934 Llewellyn married Marjorie Gita Smailes (1907 - 1957) in Perth. Marjorie died on 22 Apr 1957 in Claremont.

War Service
Enlisted at Pickering Brook on 24 Apr 1942, and on he was discharged as an enlisted man on 3 Nov 1942 to be promoted Acting lieutenant on 4 Nov 1942 and confirmed in the rank the same day at Carinyah. For a time at least was a member of the 2nd Platoon, 'A' Company of the battalion before being appointed 2 IC of the Company. On 15 Oct 1945 his appointment was cancelled and he was placed on the Retired List on 16 Oct 1945.
Post War
During 1957 Llewellyn married Judith Francisco Curedale (1926 - 2019) locally. Judith died on 4 Jun 2019 in Joondalup.
