Brief History
This unit originated as the 7th Australian Anti Aircraft Workshop Company in Victoria, and in September 1943 tehy moved to the Northern Territory. It established itself at Larrakeyah where it absorbed a number of Anti Aircraft maintenance units, and continued to work with them ntil February 1945 when Fortress Workshop Darwin was absorbed by the Northern Territory Area Workshop.
