War Service
On 27 Jan 1942 Bill was called up and commenced full time service from 5 Feb 1942 when he was posted to the 8th Supply Personnel Company 5.098. On 23 Mar 1942 he had the day at home under Doctors orders, before being discharged on 3 Apr 1942 in order to join the RAAF.
