War Service
Roy enlisted in the 2nd AIF on 14 Sep 1943 and was sent to the 35th Australian Infantry Training Battalion at Guildford. On 7 Feb 1944 he was charged with being AWOL from 10:15pm on 6 Feb 1944 until 6:40am on 7 Feb 1944. He forfeited a days pay and was awarded 3 days Confined to Barracks.
