War Service
Original enlistment was in the CMF on 5 Sep 1940 as W7067, a Private in the [[11th Australian Infantry Battalion (City of Perth Regiment) based at the Melville camp. He had had a period of part time service followed his call up on full time duty on 17 Dec 1941. He then enlisted in the 2nd AIF on 25 Jun 1942.
