During 1943 Eric married Dorothy Gwendoline Crain in Perth. Dorothy died 22 Jun 2006 in Embleton, aged 85.
War Service
Eric was mobilised into the CMF on a part time basis on 19 Sep 1941, posted to HQ Western Command Engineers. Soon after on 15 Dec 1941 he was called up for full time service.
