Early Life
Jessie Janet Thatcher (nee Pryor) was born on 8 September 1886 in Lewes Sussex England.
Marriage
Jessie married Ernest Thomas Thatcher on 2 February in 1913 at Emmanuel Church Maida Hill Westminster, England. The couple came to Western Australia on board the steam ship "Orama", leaving England on 14 February 1913 arriving on 18 March 1913. Children The couple had 6 children; Frederick Mark Thatcher, Ann Janet Thatcher (twins), Alice P Thatcher, Thomas Pryor Thatcher, James Pryor Thatcher and Corisande P. Thatcher.

Community Involvement
Served as a Secretary of the Byford P & C and the CWA Associations. She was also involved with the Women's Auxiliary Armadale/Kelmscott Memorial Hospital.
Death
Jessie died at the age of 86 on 25 February 1973.
