Pre War
To obtain a job with the Western Australian Government railways, Harry gave his dob as 4 Jul 1899 (+2 years). He was engaged as a labourer in Mullewa on 20 Sep 1920, promoted on 24 Oct 1920 to Repairer after he had found a broken rail. He was shifted to the Caron gang, before moving again to Perenjori on 18 Aug 1921. On 22 Dec 1921 he was a repairer at Canna with his final posting from 12 Jan 1923 until his resignation on 4 May 1923 with the Nudatarra gang. During 1925 Harry married Kathleen Frances Kewell in Perth.
Electoral Roll entries: 1922 at Canna, fettler; 1925 at 245 Newcastle street, North Perth, labourer; 1931 at First (Banyard) avenue, Kelmscott, labourer; 1936 - 1937 at Byford, labourer; 1943 at Wungong, labourer.
War Service

On 6 Dec 1963 Harry and wife Kathleen arrived as returning tourists at Fremantle aboard the SS Arcadia from Singapore giving their home address as 66 South West highway, Armadale.
