War Service
On 12 Nov 1940 Cyril enlisted in the CMF and was allocated to the Western Command Supply Depot, employed as a Trade Group III Butcher. On 19 Apr 1941 he was promoted Corporal, and in August was granted two weeks leave. On 16 Oct 1941 he was transferred to the Western Command Meat Depot, and on 16 Oct 1941 to the 8th Supply Personnel Company.
