Electoral Roll entries: 1922 at 133 Campbell street, Kalgoorlie, engine-driver; 1931 at Fourth road, Armadale, motor mechanic; 1936 - 1943 at Third road, Armadale, motor mechanic

During 1925 Leonard had married Marguerite (Madge) Jenkins (1903 - 1942) in Esperance. Madge died on 3 May 1942 in Armadale.

War Service

On 22 Mar 1942 Leonard enlisted in the militia and was posted to the 2nd (Fremantle) VDC Battalion. During 1943 Leonard married Patricia Joyce Bickle (1921 - 2003). Patricia died on 1 May 2003, aged 81 in Armadale. On 1 May 1945 Leonard's records show that he was transferred to the Reserve on 1 May 1945.

Post War

Electoral Roll entries: 1954 - 1963 at Third road, Armadale, motor mechanic. During 1951 Leonard married Shirley Angell ?
