Early Life

Kenneth Charles Gray was born at Kirup and registered at Blackwood. His birth date was 8 April 1915.

Marriage

Kenneth married Dorothy J Gray (nee Perry) in 1941 and the marriage was registered in Perth. They had a son called Doug.

Education

Ken studied at John Wollaston College where he was ordained a Deacon in 1978.

Electoral Rolls

According to the electoral roll in 1976 Kenneth lived at 26 Ecko Road, Kelmscott. Ken worked for many years on the Church Vestry and held positions as Church Warden, Rector's Warden, Vestry member, he also had the Treasury and Secretary for many years.

=Community Involvement

Ken enjoyed singing in the choir and playing the mandolin at Sunday Church Services.  He also was involved with the Annual Church fete each year.

He was involved with the youth group, and assisted with services at St. Mary in the Valley and St. Christopher's at Roleystone. He was instrumental in drawing up the report on behalf of the Building Sub Committee for the current Church Hall. He loved sharing the Bible in study groups either at home or at someone else's place.

Death

Kenneth died on 25 October 2009 at the age of 94 years.
