War Service
Harold enlisted in the CMF on 15 Oct 1940 at Ascot, and was appointed to the Camp Staff Ascot. On 10 Oct 1941 Harold was appointed Lance Corporal, and on 29 Jan 1942 he was promoted to Corporal. He was transferred to the 4th Australian Army Trades Training Depot on 13 Jul 1942 remaining there until 2 Dec 1943 when he was transferred to the Western Command Recruit Reception & General Details Depot. On 16 Jun 1944 he was assessed by a Medical Board as 'B2' and subsequently he was discharged on 5 Oct 1944.

Elisabeth died on 23 Mar 1976, aged 86. Children were Sybil and Maisie.
