Owned by Knight Steamship Co, she was sold in 1917 to the Ocean Steamship Company. While a hired transport vessel early in the war, she was converted into a armed escort ship from 27 May 1917 until 5 Feb 1919 when she operated between England and the USA with convoys. Scrapped in 1954.
