Brief History

A short term unit established because when the 6th Division was ready for advanced training in September 1940, its AASC units were still caught up relieving units sent to the UK on the third Convoy. The scratch unit was sent to Helwan (Egypt) with the division, and in October and November it moved to Ikingi Maryut. When other AASC units joined the division in December, the unit moved to Maaten Bagush where it was disbanded.
