Brief History
This unit was originally established as the 2nd Australian Psychological Testing Section and in military records was first mentioned as on the Order of Battle of the NSW Line of Communication Area in May 1942, but its location prior to January 1945 is unknown. In January 1945 it was located at theh Sydney Showground. In April 1945 the unit was renamed 2nd Australian Psychology Unit and in August 1945 t comprised a HQ element and two sections.
