Brief History
In February 1943 the AASC Companies in the 3rd Infantry Division were reorganised and this subnit formed part of the 1st Supply Depot Company. The unit departed for Milne Bay soon after and it remained there until January 1944 when it moved to Finschhafen. In April they moved again, this time to the recently captured Madang. In August 1944 they returned to Strathpine in Australia, remaining there until December 1944 when they moved to Jacquinot Bay on New Britain. Here they were established at Wunung Plantation. Withthe cessation of hostilities the unit moved to Rabaul.
