Brief History
Thi sunit was formed during July 1942 at Karrakatta with men from the 122 Reserve Motor Transport Company which was being reorganised. It had three platoons and in October moved to the Melville Camp, before moving to WAerribee in March 1943. From Werribee they provided feneral transport duties throughout Western Australia until September 1943 when the need for the unit declined inline with declining troop numbers in Western Australia. personnel were then posted to the 137th and 138th General Transport Companies.
