The main contingent of the '''34th Australian Infantry Brigade''', some 1,000 men, embarked on ''SS Taos Victory'' on 15 Feb 1946, at Morotai, for the trip to Kure, Japan. In 1948 the Ministry for Transport sold her to the Donaldson Line ho renamed her ''SS Lismoria''. In 1967 she was sold again this time to Greece where after being reamed ''Neon''.
