Little is known about this ship, the 73rd of the 272 of this design (EC2-S-AP2) constructed. Her keel was laid down on 6 Nov 1944. She was launched on 29 Dec 1944 and handed over for service on 31 Jan 1945. She appears to have entered service with a voyage from San Pedro to Pearl Harbour, before spending the rest of 1945 and 1946 in the Pacific.
Post WW2, Australian troops destined for Occupation roles in Japan gathered at Morotai. The main contingent of the 34th Australian Infantry Brigade, some 1,000 men, embarked on SS Taos Victory on 15 Feb 1946, at Morotai, for the trip to Kure, Japan. In 1948 the Ministry for Transport sold her to the Donaldson Line ho renamed her SS Lismoria. In 1967 she was sold again this time to Greece where after being reamed Neon. At the time she was scrapped she was rated at 8,323 tons.
