During 1946 Lloyd was a member of a musical group in Roleystone known as 'The Hilarions'. Later, in 1948 Lloyd married Eleanor Marion Bettenay. They were to have three children. Electoral Roll entries: 1949 at Brookton road, Roleystone, clerk1954 - 1980 at 26 Barker avenue, South Perth, ledger keeper.
