18 Apr 1943 to 55 OB Pool Birdum 19 May 1943 posted to the RAAF Wing of the Royal Adelaide Hospital No. 4 Stores Depot RAAF on 19 May 1943 where on 14 Aug 1943 he was charged with having been drunk in Railway Parade West Perth (during leave). For this he was fined 5/- (50 cents) 16 Jan 1944 ?? No. 40 Zone Flight Centre 28 Jan 1945 to Air Defence HQ Broome 5 Dec 1945 to No. 5 Personnel Depot RAAF for discharge which took place on 13 Dec 1945

Notes
The addition of RAAF to his name field is in order to distinguish him from 52186 Pte Joseph Watson who served during WW1 in the Army.
