On 12 Dec 1942 Edith was posted to the staff of the 6th AWS Training Company. Having completed 12 months service, she received a pay rise on 27 Sep 1943. On 8 Aug 1946 Edith was admitted to the 71st Australian Camp Hospital, and on the same day forwarded to the 110th Australian Base Hospital. Post War
During 1946 Edith married WX14254 Trooper Lawrence Bosworth in the local area. Lawrence died on 22 Jul 1999 in Mandurah, aged 74.
