Brief History
Initial existence was as 12th Workshop & Park Company which had been formed at Karrakatta, (WA)in November 1943 with a single Advanced Park Platoon. Together with 4th Engineering Stores Section (Base) they controlled the engineering stores dumps round WA until October 1944. At this time they were all combined to form 10th Australian Base Stores Platoon RAE which then managed all engineers stores in Western Australia. One member died of illness while a member of this unit during ww2.
