Early Life

Marjorie Hamilton Roberts (also known as Joy) was born on 27 October 1917 and registered at Canning. Her father was Stanley Roberts and her mother was Cathleen Roberts (nee Hamilton).

Electoral Rolls

According to the electoral roll from 1943 until 1958 Margorie lived at Lefroy Road, Kelmscott. From 1968 until 1980 Margorie lived at 46 Roberts Road, Kelmscott. Her occupation is listed as a Receptionist in a medical practice. She was also a nurse.

Community Involvement

Marjorie was a foundation member of the Armadale/Kelmscott Historical Society. She also was a Doorknock organiser for the Red Cross Appeals, as well as a life member of the Kelmscott Agricultural Society. Marjorie was also a Superintendent of St. Mary in the Valley Sunday School.

Death

Margorie died at the age of 82 years of age, on 21 January 1999.
