Pre War
Attended Mundijong school from 1929 - 1935 and was living in Cockram street, Mundijong by 1935.
War Service
On 22 Mar 1942 Mack enlisted in the Volunteer Defence Corps at Armadale, and was assigned to the 2nd (Fremantle) VDC Battalion. On 1 May 1945 along with the rest of the battalion he was placed in Reserve. Mac's original Army number appears to have been W59777 in relation to his call up on 25 Feb 1942 when it is likely he was determined to be in a reserved occupation.
Post War
During 1952 Ramsay married Edna Phyllis Manning (1926 - 2011). On 13 May 2005 Edna died in Nedlands, aged 85.
