War Service

Enlisted in Bunbury on 11 Apr 1942 and on 28 Jul 1942 he was appointed Acting Lieutenant, the rank later confirmed. However on 18 Sep 1942 he reverted to Sergeant due to a reorganisation of the unit. On 31 Dec 1944 he was placd in reserve, with formal termination on 18 Oct 1945.
