War Service

Enlisted while working in the Lake Grace district and joined the 10th (Narrogin) VDC Battalion on 22 May 1942. On 26 Jul 1942 he was promoted Corporal. between 22 Jul 1943 and 5 Aug 1943 he attended training in Narrogin. Placed on reserve on 31 Jul 1944 before being formally struck off on 26 may 1945. Service total was 3 years and 4 days part time.
