Clifford Ross Solly was born on 8 September 1910 in Katanning. Some records state that he was born in 1909.
Marriage
Clifford married Sheila Zilla Solly (nee Flanagan) at East Coolgardie in 1934.
Electoral Rolls
According to electoral rolls in 1968, 1972 and 1977 Clifford lived at 3003 Albany Highway, Kelmscott. During this time his occupation was a Salesman. From 3 December 1924 to 23 December 1926 he worked with WAGR in Traffic. In 1936 Clifford was a Prospector. Clifford was also a Mining Prospector in 1954 (Kookynie) and 1963 (Leonora)
Clifford died at the age of 68 on 4 October 1977.

Clifford served in WW2 with the Army 2nd AIF Service No. WX21111. He enlisted at Claremont.
