Electoral Roll entries: 1925 Capel, farm hand; 1931 loc. 615 Salmon Gums, farmer; 1936 - 1937 at 6 View street, North Perth, prospector; 1943 at 25 Woodville street, Balcatta, soldier. Alex had married Elsie Adelaide Evelyn (Annie) Ward (1892 - 1956) in Perth during 1940.
War Service
Alex's records are not available as he continued in the Military until 1957. His final unit was the 22nd Australian Construction Squadron.

Post War
Electoral Roll entries: 1949 - 1954 still living at 25 Woodville street, Balcatta, soldier; 1958 at 56 Scarborough Beach road, Scarborough, soldier; Elsie died 26 Nov 1956, aged 63 in Scarborough and Alex was remarried to Eliza Fenton during 1964. In 1968 they were living at 72 Central avenue, Mt Lawley, retired; 1972 - 1980 at 214 Canning Highway, East Fremantle.
