Lucy married Edward Grigsby in 1872 in Victoria. She was a foster mother to Eva Cornish.

According to the electoral roll in 1906 Lucy was living on Rochester Street Balwyn Victoria. At the time of her death she was living at "Balwyn" West Armadale.
