Early Life
Alexander Buckingham was born on 18 September 1843 in Devon, England. His father was Thomas Buckingham (Snr) and his mother was Mary Buckingham.
Marriage
Alexander married Elizabeth Buckingham (nee York) (1850-1940) on 1 September 1872 in Gingin. They had four children John Adams, Ernest Alexander, Albert Letitia (Stewart), Herbert Jabez.
Community Involvement
Around 1880 Alexander imported a road engine from London which was still in use at the Buckingham Bros. Muja in 1936.
Death
Alexander died at the age of 53 years on 28 March 1897 in Fremantle.
