Edward Married Elsie May Collier on 13 May 1925. At the time of his enlistment they had 4 children.

War Service

On 20 Aug 1942, Edward was taken on strength by the 12th (Jarrah) VDC Battalion, and on 31 Jul 1944 he was transferred to the Reserve. On 15 Oct 1945 Edward was discharged.

Post War

Electoral Roll entries: 1954 - 1977 at 91 Kooyong road, Rivervale, timber worker. Elsie died on 3 Mar 1999 aged 92 in Redcliffe. Son Philip Aubrey b. 1927, d.2013.
