Betsy Cockram (1847 - 30 August 1925) was born in England.
Early Life
Betsy Cockram with her parents, came to WA as young English children on the ship, the “Sophia” in 1850. Before her marriage, Betsy acted as a housekeeper for her brother Thomas, while he was still single.
Marriage
Married Edwin Cockram. The couple had 9 children, 6 sons and 3 daughters. They lost 2 of their daughters prematurely, leaving only Ada to survive into adulthood.
