William and Ida had five children, Ernest William born in 1920, Maude Ida born in 1922, Jackie and Lorna Louisa born in 1926. Ida died on 18 March 1927. William's second marriage was to Mary L Lloyd (nee Corringham). They married in 1927 and it was registered in Perth. It is believed that Isabel Mary Lloyd was the child of William's second marriage to Mary L Lloyd.

According to the electoral roll in 1936 and 1949 William's business was at Corner Vernon and Wheatley Streets Gosnells, and is believed that he lived at Hicks Street Gosnells. His occupation was a Bookmaker.

Death

William died at the age of 79 on 18 August 1952.
