Dorothy Sarah Solly was born at Katanning on 14 November 1905, to parents John Solly and Sarah Solly (nee Barness).

Early Life

Dorothy enlisted with the Royal Australian Navy in Fremantle, as WW2 Service No. WR/258. According to electoral rolls, in 1939 she lived at 980 Hay Street Perth as a Theatre Usher.

Marriage

In 1946 Dorothy married Sydney Godfrey Anderson in Perth.

Residences

In 1949 Dorothy and her husband Sydney lived in Leonora where he was a Hotelkeeper. Dorothy later lived at 17 Penguin Road Safety Bay, and in 1958, she worked as a Housekeeper at the Exchange Hotel in Pinjarra.

Death

Dorothy died on 31 October 1974 at the age of 68.
