Early Life

Edward (Ted) Mezger (also known as Mezgar) was born in Boulder on 30 September 1915. His birth was registered in Kalgoorlie and his parents were Thomas Mezger and Mary Gallager, they were married in 1912.

Marriage

Edward married Jean Mezger (nee Williams) in Albury NSW in 1946. They had three sons.

Edward served in WW11 in the Army as 2nd A/F his Service No. being WX377.

Electoral Roll Information

According to the electoral roll in 1954 and 1968 Edward lived on Cnr. River Road and Fancote Street Kelmscott, in 1977 and 1980 he lived at 34 Fancote Street Kelmscott. (During this times his name was written as Mezgar). During this time his occupation was a Teacher of Manual Arts at Armadale Primary School and Armadale High School.

Death

Edward died at the age of 89 on 24 May 2005.

Notes

In 1950 Edward applied for building plans of a timber frame and asbestos dwelling. Approved by Armadale/Kelmscott Road Board.
