Enlisted in Armadale on 26 May 1942. Australian Archives have not yet scanned his records, but they mention his unit as the General Details Depot, Australian Military Forces and contain an entry for a Court Martial held on 17 Aug 1943, with his discharge taking place on 25 Oct 1943.
Post War
Married Hilda Gladys Allen during 1959. Hilda died in Kelmscott on 9 Feb 1978 aged 69.
