Early Life
Emma Chamberlain (nee Hickson) was born in 1885 in Oldham, Lancashire. She was the daughter of Ellen Tomlinson (formerly Hickson) and stepdaughter of Walter Tomlinson.
Marriage
Emma married John Thomas Chamberlain in 1912 and the marriage was registered at Canning. Sarah was married as Emma Hickson Tomlinson. They had four children; Mabel, Harold, Albert and Beavis.
Immigration
Emma arrived in Fremantle on the 18 May 1911 on board the ship "Pakeha" with her family and future husband John Thomas Chamberlain.
Electoral Rolls
According to the electoral roll in 1916 and 1943 Emma lived at Railway Avenue Armadale, the house was called "Ranby".
Death
Emma died at the age of 85 years on 19 July 1973.
