Burnice was born in 1890. Her father was Samuel Salter Jnr. and her mother was Ellen Elizabeth Salter (nee Gilmore Best). Although Burnice has her name on the headstone for Ellen Salter, this is the first Ellen Salter (Ellen Emma Buckingham, Samuel's first wife who died in 1878) not Burnice's mother Ellen Elizabeth Salter who was Samuel's second wife. The burial arrangements can be confusing for non-family members, but in simple terms, Burnice is buried with her father's first wife Ellen Emma Buckingham, not her mother Ellen Elizabeth Gilmore Best.
Death
Burnice died at the age of 7 months 1890.
