However, his records note that on 6 Oct 1941 he had completed a 90 days camp at Karrakatta, and that he was then called up for full time service on 9 Jan 1942. However, on 19 Jan 1942 he was posted to Area to be held by them while he was granted 2 months civil occupation to complete a contract.
