Pre War

On 16 Nov 1940 Stewart married Annie Elizabeth Tchan (1919-1975). Annie died in Royal Perth Hospital on 29 Mar 1975. They had three children.

Electoral Roll entries: 1937 at 'Karrimount', Donnelly road, Manjimup, farmer; 1943 at 'Willowblend', Bedfordale, orchardist.

War Service

Stewart enlisted in the Volunteer Defence Corps at Armadale on 22 Mar 1944 and was allocated to the 2nd (Fremantle) VDC Battalion. he was discharged at his own request on 5 Jun 1944.


Post War

Electoral Roll entries: 1949 at 'Willowblend', Bedfordale, orchardist; 1954 - 1963 at 287 Kew street, Cloverdale, bench man; 1972 - 1977 at 100 Planet street, Carlisle, truck driver. Annie is not with Stewart after 1958.
