Transferred to the 44th Battalion on 27 Oct 1916, and moved overseas To France 25 Nov 1916 GSW to right buttock, left thigh, back and right foot; Sent home to No 8 AGH Fremantle and on recovery was discharged by 5th Military District 20 Mar 1918.
