In 1915 it was used as a Hospital Ship for the Dardanelles, arriving a couple of days after the landing at Cape Helles and remaining active there until at least November 1915.


In 1919 as the SS Delta it repatriated Australian troops before being refitted for normal commercial work. She was sold for scrap in 1929.
